Rules of Submision

Please submit all new deviations to the correct folder. If the folder where they are submitted to is incorrect, admin will move them. Submissions will be approved by admin before being accepted to the gallery.

The Featured folder is closed for deviation submission from members. Only the best of works will be put there by admin choice.

Think before you submit. Try to only submit the deviations that you think are your strongest works. Also, we will not accept your submissions if you submit your whole gallery. Please try to limit your submissions to the ones that will leave an impression on people.

We do not accept any deviations that contain multiple thumbnails of your works. A submission artwork must be singular and may not contain a preview of all of your works.

Every member is allowed to submit 3 deviations a day. This submission limit applies even if one or any of the deviations you submit are declined.

Submissions will be quality checked to insure an appropriate grade of artwork is present in all gallery folders. Please submit only what you consider your best works. Photographs taken with low resolution, grainy images, dark images (in which the picture can't be very clearly made out) or generally unclear images will also not be accepted.

Since this is a Details Only Group please be sure to have info of the the vehicle that the image is from. Such as Year, Make and Model if possible.

Only members of the group have the right to submit deviations to our galleries. If you want to publish in our gallery, please, join the group.

To submit go to Gallery click on (Submit To This Gallery) on the top right. Select (Contribute An Existing Deviation). Click on appropriate folder and submit your Art.

Yea.....It's been a while since I wrote something here.
I guess I have to do a little bitching. I know what all us photographers have to deal with at car shows. I'm all for the car shows and I usually have to wait for car enthusiasts to finish checking out the vehicles to get a good shot. I am a patient person when waiting my turn. But I went to the Seal Beach Car Show....and talk about a bunch of inconsiderate bastards. Not the car owners or the show staff but the spectators. This car show is pretty big, a wide variety of vehicles and a huge crowd.  As usual I stand patiently  by (well on one knee) waiting for my chance in the gap of people to get my shot. But on more than a half dozen times some one would look me dead in the face while I have the camera to my eye and walk and stand in front of my shot for a lengthy time. Another man walked across my shot while looking at me then got pissed at his wife for stopping so I could get my shot. Some other guy saw I was on one knee waiting for him and his wife to pass and he grabs his wife's shoulder and pulled her back and stood two feet in front of me and my shot. This other guy was on his cell phone, walked to the car I was trying to shoot and stopped, put his hand on the guys car to support himself while he carried on his conversation.
Snobs, Arrogance, or just outright Assholes....you take your choice.
I know waiting for people to move comes with the territory. I have been to hundreds of car shows and almost all the people that walk into your scene didn't see you or apologize for messing up your shot. But I had never encountered willful attempt to make sure you get a bad shot or no shot at all. AND....so many at one show.
OK I feel better now.
Back to the group....Welcome to all our new members. You guys have some great shots.
Thanks to the contributors for making sure the quality of submissions are up to this groups standards.
The weather is getting real nice and the cars are coming out of storage for display.
So good luck out there...be patient and you'll get your shot. Even if you have to deal with A-Holes.
